School officials said more than 250 alumni, students, family members and friends donned sashes and marched behind the Fordham banner during this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Manhattan.
But the man who usually leads the contingent was noticeably absent.
President Fr. Joseph McShane, S.J., missed the parade because he was sick with “a flu-like bug,” according to spokesman Bob Howe.
McShane appeared to be feeling better Monday night for Fordham’s annual Founder’s Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan.
