The contract of David Roach, director of intercollegiate athletics at Fordham, has been extended through June 2019, a spokesman for the department confirmed Thursday afternoon.
Roach has been at the helm of Fordham’s athletics program for a little over a year. Prior to becoming a Ram, Roach served as president of the National Association of Collegiate Athletic Directors, and spent eight years as athletics director at Colgate University.
He did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The spokesman declined to provide specific financial information about the contract.
